Our pet project, a nationwide system of 20-acre farms which produce ethanol and use the byproducts of ethanol production to produce food, meets all the criteria of the perfect type of stimulus which our economy so desperately needs. Please view the video then study our proposal and see if you agree.
Examples of good and bad types of stimulus projects:

BACK TO THE FUTURE---that's our message---that America has gotten seriously off-track during the past 100 years.
You will see how Permaculture Ethanol can LOCALIZE food and fuel production and put the power / control / profits back in the hands of Americans:
TOP 10 REASONS FOR PERMACULTURE ETHANOL
1. 500,000 USA jobs, 20,000 state jobs, 300 county jobs
2. 1.125 BILLION gallons of gas annually that we don't have to import---lowers trade deficits.
3. Small farm / farmland preservation. Small farms can now become nicely profitable.
4. NO OIL SPILLS/POLLUTION/ENVIRONMENTAL DESTRUCTION---NO polluted air, land, and water. Is carbon-neutral
5. Less oil wars and less American soldiers lost in oil wars
6. Starve the terrorists by not being forced to purchase their oil
7. MASSIVE LOCAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT since these dollars stay in the local communities.
8. FRESH ORGANIC foods are grown and consumed locally
9. GREAT children come from small farms
10. MULTIPLIES food produced per acre instead of taking foods off tables
A 20-ACRE FARM CAN BE VERY PROFITABLE
Famed author and permaculturalist, David Blume, has researched and designed a revolutionary concept which will solve many of today's most pressing energy problems. The basic "building block" is a 20-acre farm which produces corn, ethanol, tilapia fish, mushrooms, worms, and greenhouse vegetables. Taken individually, of course, this is nothing new. What IS new is how ALL the by-products and heat are integrated into a value-added, organic, sustainable, symphony of synergism. Blume's preliminary figures indicate that this 20-acre "building block" is capable of generating $484,000 in gross sales per year. Net Profits are expected to range from $75,000 to 110,000 depending on whether land, buildings, and basic equipment needs to be purchased or is already owned.
Permaculturally designed small-scale Alcohol Fuel operations can provide solutions for reversing many current social and environmental crises plaguing the Nation and world. Using a wide network of small-scale Alcohol Fuel plants can help produce abundant food and fuel crops, lucrative byproducts including: mushrooms, fish, high-grade livestock feed as well as organic fertilizers and herbicides. Alcohol Fuel provides a total solution for cooking, heating and transportation as well as optimal food production and non-exportable jobs.
On March 19-21, 2010, through the generosity of First Harrison Bank, our organization, www.HCIBA.net , sent our delegate, Mr. Steve Tucker, to a 3-day workshop in Brentwood, TN to learn Blume's methods. Needless to say it was an exhilarating experience for Mr. Tucker, who has wanted to pursue ethanol production for 25 years, and has been operating a fuel still for 2 years as a hobby. He is excited about becoming totally self-sufficient since ethanol can be used for vehicles, home heating, AND producing electricity. Raising your own organic food, that you KNOW is pure and safe is a major benefit too.
As a single self-sufficient stand-alone unit for a family or individual. Some products would be used by the owner while most would be sold for profit. This might be an existing farm owner or a tired-of-the-city-rat-race escapee with some amount of gardening / farming experience. It is estimated that a single agricultural county could support 50-100 of these units or 3,000-5000 units statewide. On a nationwide basis this will significantly reduce our dependence on foreign oil.
Each region might form a marketing co-op to assist with marketing whatever products a participant chooses to grow. ALL products produced and sold locally are THREE TIMES more valuable to the local economy in terms of economic development.
We are actively seeking members, grants, and sponsorships.
